Last weekend I was able to travel to San Diego to photograph the bridal shower of my dear friend Macrina. Macrina and I met in college at Colgate University and now both reside in Los Angeles. Her bridal shower was filled with loving friends and family, including several Colgate Alumni. The shower took place at the Currant American Brasserie in San Diego, where the party enjoyed a delicious brunch and bottomless mimosas. Thank you Macrina for such a magical Saturday afternoon. You are so loved and adored.

These images are from a recent shoot I had with makeup artist and stylist, Lesli Matta, for a new clothing line in Laguna Beach called Spoiled by Hande. Hande is an incredibly driven and creative Turkish woman who also co-owns a Mediterranean restaurant in Laguna, GG’s Bistro. I love the simple elegance of style combined with subtle, earthy tones of her clothing line. Her dazzling jewelry also adds that final touch to any outfit. She is having a grand opening soon, so be on the lookout if you’re ever in the Laguna area.

Rock Your Hair is a combination of amazing hair products created by Michael O’Rourke designed to increase hair volume and voluptuousness. What can I say, it pretty much ROCKS!

Olivia recently tured one and shared her excitement for life with everyone present at her birthday celebration. She comes from a wonderful family, so it’s no wonder she’s such a light. I had a ball photographing all the kids. I love how candid and expressive they are. I’m coming to find more and more that most kids are not very camera shy. In fact, most have perfected their “say cheese” face, so I try to catch them during those moments as well as when they’re just doing their thing and aren’t in performance mode.:) I love how they bring out the kid in their parents when they interact with each other. October 1, 2011 was a day to remember! Emily and Eric were married at the Adirondack League Club in Old Forge. Upstate New York became a hot and lively spot that day and night, despite the good luck wedding rain and chilly fall air. The newlyweds shared their love with each other and everyone in attendance, while the band got everybody movin’ and groovin’. We danced the night away and were pleasantly surprised with a grand finale performance of “Sweet Home Alabama” by none other than the bride and groom!!! What a treat, to be remembered forever. Congrats you two!!!
